Design Consultation

The first step is to invite you to visit our luxurious showroom in Histon, Cambridge. We try to ensure that you are the only visitor during your time with us, allowing you to fully explore our kitchen furniture products, styles, and finishes without interruption. This enables you to identify what you like and don’t like. Afterwards, we can sit down over a cup of tea or coffee to discuss your new kitchen space.

Measure

After we have a clear understanding of your desired kitchen design, our team of expert kitchen designers will help guide you in achieving your vision. We can arrange a home visit to evaluate the space and take precise measurements. Additionally, we can provide recommendations on complementary details such as wall and floor tiles, paint color for your walls, and suitable lighting options. Before presenting the final design to you, our team ensures that every detail has been scrutinised by multiple pairs of eyes. This thorough examination by all team members provides fresh insight, generates new ideas, and ensures that the design is accurate and of the highest quality.

Presentation

At presentation stage, we provide you with market-leading design images, comprehensive printouts, copies, and a fully detailed quote. We then discuss any tweaks, changes or completely new alternatives to get your new kitchen design perfect.

Once you are completely happy with your new kitchen design, we will begin the order process with our specialist suppliers to source everything from kitchen units to appliances. At this point we will provide you with a full confirmation and ask for a deposit payment.

With all of our work backed by an insurance-based Consumer Care Plus scheme, you can be confident your deposit, payments and work in progress are protected. All of our work is continually vetted by the KBSA to ensure we are maintaining the highest standards as specified by the KBSA.

Installation

Kitchen Installation

Kitchensmiths takes pride in providing exceptional kitchen installation services. We use a combination of three full-time employees (including an eletrician and plumber) and subcontractors for more specialist work, who conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times. Our installers wear our uniform, drive our vans, and are equipped with the latest and best tools on the market. Our team are highly experienced and can perform a full range of works, including kitchen removal and rubbish disposal, plastering, plumbing, and electrical work.

Aftercare

We understand that having a kitchen installed can be a stressful time, which is why we prioritise communication and transparency. We are available to answer any questions you may have and provide progress reports to keep you updated throughout the installation process. To minimise disruption, we provide a table-top cooker so you can still prepare meals during the installation. Our team always works diligently to complete all tasks quickly and to the highest possible standard. We will not leave until you are completely satisfied. Upon practical completion we arrange for your final invoice and provide appliance aftercare and warranty information.
